United Kingdom Regulations
The UK has been a leader in climate disclosure since mandating TCFD-aligned reporting. New UK Sustainability Reporting Standards based on ISSB were published in February 2026.
This is a living policy library that will develop alongside the global climate disclosure landscape.
United Kingdom Climate Policies
The UK continues to build on its early leadership in climate disclosure. With TCFD-aligned reporting already mandatory for large companies and the new UK SRS standards now available, UK-based organisations face a maturing regulatory landscape. UK local authorities have declared over 300 climate emergencies and many have committed to net-zero targets ahead of the national 2050 deadline.
